I did it! One whole year of haiku. I feel not so much like I've accomplished something (although I do feel that) but more like I've reached a viewpoint. A good place to pause and reflect before continuing on the path. Here's to another year of daily practice!

I have to say also that in this time of uncertainty, I find it hard to write haiku about this global crisis. It is too big for three lines. But I also find it hard not to write about it. Spring is budding and blooming all around us. Everything is charged with our fear and our hope. We will see what this new way of being brings.
